The information that you provide about yourself to Face will only be used in accordance with our current Privacy Policy. We collect personal information from visitors to our website through the use of on-line forms. We process personal information collected via this website to enable us to contact you from time to time to tell you about our publications based on your subscription preferences. Please provide the relevant information on the subscription form to receive information about our titles. We do not disclose personal information to other companies. Your activity on this website is anonymously recorded in order to improve the functionality of the website and our service.
Sale of goods
The following terms and conditions govern all transactions between us and any sale of goods by us to you. Please read them carefully. When you place an order to purchase goods from the website, and we have approved your payment details, we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an e-mail to you at the e-mail address you provide in your order. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us (“your Contract”). These terms and conditions, together with the prices displayed on our website, delivery details, contact details and any document expressly referred to in these terms and conditions, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the sale of goods by us to you. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
Payments online
We've partnered up with Stripe to protect your personal information and credit or debit card details. Security is our highest priority. We exceed the most stringent industry standards: each piece of our infrastructure and each stage of our operations are designed with security in mind. All of your details are encrypted (converted into secure code) to the maximum strength supported by your browser. We are level 1 PCI compliant and use 128 bit SSL encryption to ensure credit card data is safe and secure.
When you enter your card details you are using Stripe’s secure server ensuring information is secure. Data storage on Stripe, and the communication between Face, Stripe and the worldwide banking networks is regularly audited by the banks themselves. Stripe employ sophisticated firewall technology and other security best practises to ensure only legitimate access is allowed.
All transactions are processed via Stripe in pounds sterling, either through your Stripe account, or on your credit card through Stripe.
Payments by cheque
Payment by cheque can also be accepted. Please send us a description of the item(s) in an email and we will hold the item(s) in stock for a period of 48 hours. Upon receipt of your cheque we will arrange shipping within the terms stated. We allow an additional 5 days for cheques to clear before items are dispatched. Please make cheques payable to Face Media Limited, and post the cheque to: Face Publications, No. 1 The Tower, The Tower Drive, Pool-in-Wharfedale, West Yorkshire, LS21 1NQ – UK.
Order confirmation
Once an order has been placed through the website you will receive email confirmation from both Stripe and Face. If we are unable to fulfil your order due to availability or any other difficulties you will be refunded for the unavailable item. Please ensure you have read through our Terms and Conditions before you place an order.
Shipping
We aim to deliver all orders in the UK within 3-4 working days, and within 10-15 working days for the rest of the world. For UK deliveries we use Royal Mail and Parcelforce, international deliveries are sent using standard Air Mail. If you are ordering multiple books, they may arrive in separate packages, depending on their weight. Any dates we give you for delivery are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay in delivering the goods to you. You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered once they have been delivered to your specified delivery address and your payment has been authorised and cleared. Once the goods have been delivered we no longer have any responsibility for any loss or damage to the goods.

Europe: £9.50, plus £5 per book
Rest of the World: £24.50, plus £5 per book

Description & availability
All drawings, images, descriptive material, specifications and advertising on our website are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods in order to assist your purchasing decision. All goods advertised are strictly subject to availability.
Prices & cancellation
The price payable for goods will be stipulated on our website at the time you place your order. Any delivery charges will be specified separately. We reserve the right to cancel your contract if: We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered; or we do not deliver to your area; or one or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error; or your payment is not authorised or is refused. If we do cancel your contract, we will notify you by email and we will refund you any sum paid within 30 days of your order. We are not obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
Cancellation by you
You can withdraw from your contract by returning the books you have ordered within 14 days after they are delivered. The only circumstance in which you cannot withdraw from your contract is where you have used the goods you have ordered (or the ones in relation to which you want to withdraw). To withdraw from your order you must notify us in writing to the postal address: Face Publications, No. 1 The Tower, The Tower Drive Pool-in-Wharfedale, West Yorkshire, LS21 1NQ – UK; or send all details on email to orders@facepublications.com If you have received the goods before you withdraw your order then, unless you have lost your right to withdraw because you have used the goods, you must send them back to our contact address at your own cost and risk. If you withdraw from your order but we have already processed the goods for delivery you must not unpack the goods when they are received by you and you must send the goods back to us at our contact address at your own cost and risk. Once you have notified us that you are withdrawing your order, any sum paid to Face will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible, and in any event within 30 days of your order provided that the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. Shipping costs can not be refunded.
Liability
If you do not receive goods ordered by you within 28 days of the date on which you ordered them, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing at our contact address of the problem within 40 days of the date on which you ordered the goods. If the goods we deliver are not what you ordered, or are damaged or defective, or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, our only obligation will be: To make good any shortage; or to replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective; or to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question.
To the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damage. Our maximum liability to you arising from any product you purchase from us shall be the price you paid for the product. We shall have no liability to you for any direct or consequential loss that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control, which shall include, but not be limited to, acts of God, civil commotion, riots, malicious damage, floods, drought, fire, legislation, failure of ISP or telecommunications provider or any other cause beyond our reasonable control.
General terms
You acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms of our Privacy Policy. Failure by us to enforce any of these terms and conditions will not affect our right to enforce any of the remaining terms and conditions. If any of these terms and conditions are unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you), the enforceability of any of the remaining terms and conditions shall not be affected. The contract between us shall be governed by, and interpreted in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without prior notice to you.
