We proud to announce that we have won not one, but two, Gourmand Awards at this year’s Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.

Our two newest books have won the titles of Best UK Cookbook for Sat Bains’ Too Many Chiefs, Only One Indian; and Best First UK Cookbook for James Mackenzie’s On the Menu. Sat Bains is the chef-owner of the two-Michelin-starred Restaurant Sat Bains in Nottingham, while James Mackenzie is chef-owner of the one-Michelin-starred Pipe and Glass Inn at South Dalton.

Both books will now go forward to compete against other cookbooks in their categories for the title of best in the world, with the winner being announced at a ceremony in Paris on 23 February at Le Carrousel du Louvre, under the Pyramid of the Louvre Museum, during the Paris Cookbook Fair.

This is the best Christmas present we could ask for after a great year – a real double whammy! We're thrilled for both Sat and James. They’re both superb chefs, with very different styles, and thoroughly deserve these awards.
